Public reserves provide open space for passive recreation and it is important to protect them from damage.
Vehicles are normally prohibited from driving or parking on public reserves as vehicles may damage the reserve and create safety conflicts for users of the reserves.
Council recognises that residents or businesses may need to gain access to properties through a public reserve for deliveries or construction work. Council has established an application process to allow temporary vehicle access under specific conditions.
An application form must be completed and submitted to Council for the assessment before consent can be provided.
