The Ballina Salvage Shed is a resource recovery shop (tip shop) that sells quality used, recycled and secondhand items that have been salvaged before going to landfill. Visit the shop to find a wide range of quality pre-loved items at great prices. It is operated by Momentum Collective, a not for profit community organisation, and the shop supports their programs.
Items for the Salvage Shed in Ballina must be taken over the weighbridge and enter the Resource Recovery Centre. This prevents the Salvage Shed being inundated with unwanted goods illegally dumped at the front of the premises and assists their staff to focus on resource recovery.
Last year the Salvage Shed saved over 300 tonnes of preloved items from ending up in landfill! We’re proud to report that the Salvage Shed saves tonnes of reusable materials from entering landfill each year, provides sustainable options to everyday items and reduces the environmental impact of buying new. Why not drop in and see the variety of quality items available?
