Community Priorities and Satisfaction Surveys

Council undertakes community surveys every two years to understand the communities priorities, overall level of satisfaction with Council performance, identify priorities for Council, and to improve on methods to engage and consult with the community. In 2018, 2016, 2014, 2012 and 2008 Council engaged a research company (Micromex Research) to undertake surveys which involved the random surveying of 500 residents of the Shire by telephone (landline and mobile).  The results of those surveys can be viewed below:


Community Satisfaction Survey - Development Application Process

In 2018 Council engaged a research company (Micromex Research) to undertake a satisfaction survey which involved a sample of approximately 300 applicants who had submitted a planning application to Council in recent years. The results of this survey can be viewed below:
