The Get Active Online program is currently held once a week each Monday at the Kentwell Community Centre in Ballina. It offers free internet access and computer training for seniors by volunteer tutors. Volunteer tutors are crucial to the success of Get Active Online. Volunteer tutors provide face-to-face training in computers and the internet to senior Australians. Volunteering can be personally fulfilling; all that is needed is your computer and internet skills, your time, and a willingness to help others. Sessions are generally one-one-one and go for one hour. Tutors normally volunteer for 3 hours, once a week, however we can be flexible to suit the availability of tutors.
