Community Donations

Ballina Shire Council offers a Community Donations Program to provide financial assistance for Community Groups and capital works assistance for Community Sporting Groups program annually for not for profit organisations. 

Council’s draft 2024/25 Delivery Program and Operational Plan provides funding through our donations programs to assist community-based groups deliver services to our residents.

Applications are now open until Friday 31 May 2024 for the following donation programs for the 2024/25 period and will be reviewed by Council for decision in July at the commencement of the new financial year:

To be eligible for financial assistance the relevant online form must be completed and submitted online by the closing date.

Council also offers a Donations Program for Australian Representation to assist Ballina Shire residents that are selected in a team or event that is part of a nationally recognised federation to represent Australia domestically or internationally.
