Tenders and Quotations

Contractors and suppliers are invited to register on our eTendering Portal and subscribe to receive alerts about contract opportunities with Ballina Shire Council.

We publish Request for Quotations (RFQ), Requests for Tender (RFT), Requests for Information (RFI) and Expressions of Interest (EOI) on the eTender Portal. Registered users can download all specification documents and response forms directly.

Council’s preferred way to receive submissions is through the eTender Portal. However, hard copy submissions can also be delivered to our Tender Box in the foyer at Council’s Customer Service Centre at 40 Cherry Street, Ballina on weekdays from 8.15am to 4.30pm. Please note: We do not accept submissions by email or fax.

Make sure your submission meets the requirements outlined in the General Conditions for Tendering.

Subscribe for Tender Alerts

  1. Create an Account on the e-Tender portal; enter your details and set a password - confirm your registration via email.
  2. Set up alerts Log in to your e-Tender account; click My Subscriptions; select add a new RFx Subscription, tick the box for Subscribe to all Ballina Shire Council RFx's, set an Alert Expiry Date, and click the Add Alert button.

You will then receive email notifications whenever a new tender is posted.

Standard Purchasing Conditions

Unless otherwise detailed on a purchase order, Standard Purchasing Conditions detail contractual conditions when a supplier enters into an agreement to supply goods and/or services to Ballina Shire Council.
