North Creek Rock Revetment Works

Council has completed works to remove and replace additional rocks along the south bank of North Creek, between Meldrum Park and Missingham Park. A new shared path has also been constructed along the foreshore.

Regatta Avenue Rock Revetment Works

Council have rectified a small section of rock wall adjacent to the Ballina Memorial Pool along the Richmond River. Works on this section were completed in August 2024.

These two projects will revive these rock wall areas and rectify damage done following the 2022 flood events. These projects have been funded by NSW Crown Lands and Ballina Shire Council.
