Stormwater Relining Program

As part of Ballina Shire Council’s capital works program, the rehabilitation of stormwater drainage pipes will take place at various locations in Ballina, West Ballina, East Ballina, Lennox Head, and Wardell.

The rehabilitation works will involve cleaning, root cutting and relining of existing stormwater pipes without trench excavation.

The works will be completed in two stages:

• Stage One: Initial cleaning, involving jetting and pipe preparation for relining. Duration: one to three days per site.  
• Stage Two: Commence relining of pipes. Duration: approximately one week per site.

The project timeline has been revised and works will now be carried out over two periods from May to June 2024, and from July to August 2024.
